I still can’t believe it snowed in Texas! Last Thursday I attended my brother’s holiday band concert and when we got out we were amazed by the snowflakes falling from the sky. I thought it was going to last for a few more hours throughout the night, but to my surprise, I woke up to a blanket of snow covering my entire backyard. I was extremely happy because one of the things that I’ve missed the most from Virginia is the snow and never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would get to enjoy it in Texas. Leaving aside the icy roads and low temperatures, snow is so serene. It makes you wanna go outside and build a snowman or watch it fall from your window while drinking a hot cocoa wearing your cozy pajamas.
